4.1 Insulation Performance

Dry-type transformers have insulation heat resistance grades including Class B, F, H, C, etc. The heat resistance temperatures are 130℃, 155℃, 180℃, 220℃ respectively. This product adopts DuPont new materials and new processes, the insulation heat resistance grade of SG(B)10 dry-type transformer has reached Class H, and the heat resistance grade of key insulation parts has reached Class C.

4.2 Safety Performance

• All insulating materials are non-combustible, self-extinguishing and non-toxic, and the combustible substances are less than 10% of those of epoxy resin cast products.
• No toxic and harmful smoke is produced when burning at high temperature of 800℃ for a long time.
• It has significant advantages in occasions with high safety requirements such as power, subway, ship, chemical industry, metallurgy, and in places with high humidity and poor ventilation.

4.3 Reliability Performance

• The special coil design, process and materials make the product have excellent three-proof performance (moisture-proof, mildew-proof, anti-smog).
• It can withstand thermal shock without partial discharge and local cracking.
• The insulation system based on Nomex maintains excellent electrical and mechanical properties during the entire service life of the transformer, and Nomex products are not easy to age, shrink or resist compression.
• The elastic characteristics ensure the transformer has a compact structure and can withstand short circuits.
