1. Product Brief Introduction

European-style cable branch boxes have been widely used in the cableization engineering projects of power distribution network systems in recent years. Their main characteristics are double opening doors and the use of adapter sleeves as connecting busbars, with advantages such as small length, clear arrangement of cables, and no need for large-angle crossing of three-core cables. The cable connectors adopted comply with DIN47636 standard.

It generally adopts fixed current 630A bolt fixed connection type cable connectors.

2. Model Meaning & Explanation

The coding of the product model contains the core parameter information of the cable branch box. The specific meaning of each part of the model is as follows:

DFW□-□/□：
- The first square: Voltage class
- The second square: Number of circuits (total number of incoming and outgoing lines in one phase)
- The third square: A stands for arrester, default without arrester

5. Structural Description

DFW-12 series cable branch boxes are designed for outdoor use, with fully sealed structure, full insulation, dustproof, moistureproof, floodproof, corrosion resistance and strong environmental adaptability. The cabinet protection grade reaches IP33.

DFW-12 is made of stainless steel materials, and the exterior is made of stainless steel or cold-rolled plate with spray coating for dustproof and anti-corrosion.

The cable connector support is located at the upper part of the branch box to support the bushing, which is used to fix the cable connector. If it is an arrester, the arrester is installed at the end of the cable connector. In addition, the short-circuit fault indicator and live display are also installed in the junction box. All live parts of the main circuit in the box are treated with pre-inserted cable terminal insulation. The cable partition is located at the lower part of the box, with cable fixing clip and grounding terminal. The box body has reasonable structure, small volume, compact structure, beautiful appearance, simple installation and easy maintenance.
