1. Product Brief Introduction

The mining substation is a complete set of explosion-proof, shock-resistant and anti-interference power transformation and distribution equipment specially designed for mine open-pit and underground mining scenarios. It is divided into mining flameproof type and mining general type. 2. Scope of Application

  • Underground scenarios: Coal mines/metal mines underground mining faces, shaft bottom yards, electromechanical chambers, transportation roadways and other areas with gas/coal dust explosion risks (flameproof type)
  • Surface scenarios: Open-pit mining sites, ore dressing plants, mine stockyards, gangue yards, mine industrial squares and other areas with high dust, strong vibration and outdoor open-air conditions (general type / increased safety type)
  • Mobile configuration: Exclusive power supply for large mining equipment such as mine underground working faces, drainage pumps, hoists, roadheaders, shearers, etc.
  • Temporary power supply: Temporary/mobile power supply for underground comprehensive mining working faces and open-pit mobile mining sites (mobile skid-mounted mining substation)
  • Voltage level: 6kV/10kV high-voltage incoming line, 0.4kV/1.14kV low-voltage outgoing line (mine-specific low-voltage grade), covering power supply for small, medium and large power loads in mines

3. Model Definition (Compiled according to Mining Explosion-proof Standard, MT/T Industry Specification)

The model number of mining substation is compiled by mining explosion-proof code + equipment type + voltage level + capacity + structure code. The core model numbers include underground flameproof type KBSGZY-10/0.69-500 and surface general type KYD-10/0.4-800. The definition of each part conforms to mine specifications with high identification:

3.1 Underground Flameproof Type (Core)

  • K: Mining flameproof type (explosion-proof code Exd I, suitable for underground gas environment); increased safety type is marked with A
  • BS: Mining dry-type transformer (oil-free, mandatory for underground mines)
  • GZY: Combined mobile type (Z - Combined, Y - Mobile, skid-mounted base, suitable for underground mobile power distribution)
  • 10/0.69: Rated voltage, 10kV (mainstream in mines) / 6kV on high voltage side, 0.69kV/1.14kV on low voltage side (mine-specific low voltage, suitable for large mining equipment)
  • 500: Rated capacity of transformer, unit kVA, commonly used 200/315/500/800kVA underground

3.2 Surface General Type

  • KYD: Mining general prefabricated substation (Y - Prefabricated, D - Substation)
  • 10/0.4: Rated voltage, 10kV on high voltage side, 0.4kV (conventional low voltage) on low voltage side
  • Extended code: L - Open-air type / Q - Skid-mounted type / Z - Intelligent type, marking surface environmental characteristics
  • Explosion-proof supplement: Marked as Exib I (intrinsically safe type) for surface areas with slight explosive gas risk

4. Working Conditions

4.1 Environmental Conditions (Adapt to Harsh Environment in Mines)

  • Ambient temperature: -5℃~40℃ underground, -30℃~+55℃ on surface (open-air high temperature design)
  • Relative humidity: ≤95% (at 25℃), short-term condensation is allowed (equipped with dehumidification device)
  • Altitude: ≤2000m (mainstream in mines), customized capacity for altitude >2000m
  • Explosion-proof requirement: Underground areas must meet GB3836.1~4-2010 explosion-proof standard, no open fire and no electric spark leakage
  • Environmental medium: Withstand underground gas, coal dust, surface dust, sulfide corrosive gas, rainwater (open-air mines)
  • Vibration and impact: Withstand mine mining and transportation vibration (acceleration ≤5g), and underground skid-mounted type is equipped with anti-vibration buffer structure

  • Power frequency: 50Hz±1Hz (high precision frequency requirement for mines)
  • Voltage fluctuation: ±10% on high voltage side, ±7% on low voltage side, withstand voltage fluctuation caused by frequent start-stop of mine loads
  • Load characteristics: Adapt to heavy load, impact load and frequent start-stop load of mine fans, water pumps, roadheaders, etc., supporting long-term full load operation
  • Grounding method: Special protective grounding underground (grounding resistance ≤2Ω), neutral point direct grounding/ungrounded on surface
